Jamnica Plus
The Croatian water and beverages producer Jamnica Plus is part of Fortenova Group and already operates a range of Krones machines and lines for filling CSD. For the first time, the company is now adding an aseptic line from Krones for its sensitive beverages, which will be installed in an existing plant.
The system, which features an aseptic blow moulder and filler, is designed for both high- and low-acid beverages. The product lineup includes iced teas, juices, kids’ drinks, protein drinks, and vitamin drinks. They’ll be filled in 0.5-liter and 1.5-liter bottles that will then be combined into packs of 12 or 6.

In particular, Jamnica Plus liked the concept of the Contipure AseptBloc DN including the Contipure system for preform sterilization combined with an aseptic blow moulder which treats the preforms instead of the fully blown containers.
This installation will also be the first time that the new Krones HMI (human-machine-interface) is used for the aseptic part of a filling line. The new platform for machine operation via touchscreen is part of the conversion from Siemens S7 to TIA.
