Now Krones and Owens-Illinois have boldly ventured onto new terrain, going beyond their client-vendor relationship pure and simple: under a recently concluded collaboration agreement, the two companies intend in future to join forces in creating solutions for the growing glass market.
“In production facilities all over the world, the products of O-I and Krones are already encountering each other. So it was absolutely logical to improve still further the compatibility of Krones’ lines and the glass containers from O-I,” explains Christoph Klenk, CEO of the Krones Group.
