Which companies achieved the greatest reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions relative to revenue from 2016 to 2021? The Financial Times and Statista teamed up to tackle this question and identify “Europe’s Climate Leaders” for the year 2023. The resulting list includes 500 companies from across Europe – and one of them is Krones!
Additional criteria, besides the reduction in emissions intensity , include further climate-relevant commitments such as collaboration with CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The selection of the companies and the definition of the assessment benchmarks were carried out according to independent journalistic criteria. The scoring itself was done by the statistics and market research company Statista.
