enviro has been informing all our development work and continually growing in scope and importance since 2008. In its early days, the test procedure focussed on identifying individual machines that were demonstrably resource-economical and eco-friendly. The programme quickly grew to include the testing and assessment of entire machine series and systems.
A small seal with a huge impact
Following a number of recertifications by the TÜV SÜD technical inspectorate and presentations at the drinktec, enviro has turned into the best proof that we’re on the right track: Whole lines and systems as well as innovative packaging solutions have meanwhile become part of this programme, epitomising energy-economy, media-efficiency and eco-compatibility. enviro even has an effect on our targets for reducing Scope-3 emissions and vividly demonstrates our efforts aimed at downsizing our product carbon footprint.
A value-driver signposting the way to the future
are not only the basis for being awarded the enviro seal, they are also determinant factors in Krones’ research and development work. enviro gives us reason to look to the future with justified optimism, it encourages us to stick with our strategy and to keep forging ahead with unabated vigour!
